KCS has extensive experience in projects up to $100 million dollars consisting of Schools, Colleges, Hospitals, Stadiums, Parking Structures, Ports, Refineries, Telecom, parks, Commercial Building and Housing projects. Our team has more than 300 years combined experience in construction management, architecture, land-use, inspection and engineering. We have pride in our work and a sense of obligation to the client.
Mission Statement
KCS will make the project run more efficiently and improve the quality of work. We will provide the Architect and Client a written program that will enable Trade Contractors to know what is expected from them in advance, and assist them in achieving the project goals. KCS will provide documentation that will enable the Client to view project history, manpower loads, and project impacts necessary to mitigate costly litigation. KCS will provide the technical expertise to get the job done right the first time.

Responsible for day to day operations and client relations of Knowland Construction Services – Inspectors of Record.
More than twenty years experience working for engineering firms, architects and contractors on three continents. Experience includes buildings, ports, refineries, air ports and civil projects. Extensive experience in development and entitlement of commercial and residential projects.
RICHARD KNOWLAND – DIRECTOR – PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT

MPA Cal State Long Beach – Urban Planning
Responsible for development and private sector projects.
Twenty years experience in development, entitlements, planning and construction. Previous experience as Division President of Lennar California responsible for the Anaheim’s Golden Triangle Development, Downtown Long Beach, Trillogy in the Inland Empire, and the Tustin Marine Base. Further work for the Irvine Company, Newhall Land & Mining.
GREG HANKINS – MANAGER – REPORTING SYSTEMS AND QA/QC
Licensed Architect BA Cal Poly Pomona, 1982
Responsible for Organization, Systems and Quality Control Programs.
More than twenty years in the design, QA/QC, and contract administration of educational, institutional, commercial and residential projects.
DIANE KNOWLAND – CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Woodburry University.
Responsible for oversight of all Administration, Finance, Legal, Insurance, Marketing and Community Relations. More than 20 years experience as a legal secretary and office manager for major law firms and construction companies.
